S’Mores Cookies

Guess what guess what guess what???  Today’s my one month blogivesary.  Holla.  I’m legit now, right?

Let’s celebrate with my favorite cookies!

These cookies are a big hit every time I make them.  Huge hit!  Even more than that, it was the first recipe I made that I found on a food blog. Kristan makes great desserts and she’s so creative and funny.  She’s one of the main reasons I got inspired to start my own food blog.

S’Mores Cookies

Recipe from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen


1 1/4 cup flour

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3 /4 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows or enough to put 2 on each cookie

2 Hershey’s bars, broken into individual pieces

Preheat oven to 375.  Grease cookie sheets or use parchment paper.

Add together the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda and salt.  Whisk together.  Set aside.

Beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.  Blend in the egg and vanilla.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet.  Mix well.  Stir in the chocolate chips.

Use a cookie scoop or heaping spoonfuls to place cookie dough on cookie sheets, about 3 inches apart.

Bake for 8 minutes.

Remove cookies from oven quickly.  Press mini marshmallows and Hershey’s chocolate into the cookies lightly.  Return to oven and cook until done, about 3 more minutes.
