Hi all!! I apologize for the lack of posts recently. I wanted to share some exciting news though!
If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you already about my changes.
Next week, I’m moving!!!!!!!!!! To…………
AUSTIN, TX
I’m super excited/nervous/worried/giddy/stressed/happy all at the same time. My browser is bursting with bookmarks of Austin restaurants to try too, of course. 🙂
I’m going to take the rest of the month to focus on packing, etc. I had a huge bump in the road thrown at me yesterday, but am excited to see how my life changes over the next few months.
Be back soon,
Jules
I happy and excited for you Julie, and can’t wait to meet you! 🙂
Good luck with your move. You’ll have a blast checking out all the awesome BBQ and tex-mex places like Juan in a Million and Iron Works BBQ. 🙂
I know! Saltlick & Franklin’s are at the top of my list to try for BBQ!
Austin is awesome – I lived there for 51 years 🙂 before moving to the Gulf Coast. I still get back there 5 or 6 times per year and I always have a restaurant list to cover at every visit…. I miss my old favorites. Good luck on the move and hope the bumps in the road smoothe out soon!
Oh wow!!! You’ll have to let me know what your faves are!!
Best of luck on the big move!
Thanks Stephanie!
Best of luck with the move and with smoothing out whatever bumps appear on the road.
Thanks Anita!
Wow—That is exciting news! I am envious. Love Austin! Sometimes bumps in the road yield great things! Good luck and can’t wait to hear about your Austin adventures!
Welcome to Texas…the Summers are brutal, but Austin is such a fun/cool place that you figure out ways to cope! Once you’re settled, let me know if you want to get together…SA is only 70-ish miles away, and I always love to go to Austin for an afternoon!
Wendy, I’m DEFINITELY going to reach out to you to get together! That will be so much fun!!! Be expecting an email from me after Easter. 🙂 🙂
Oh man that is exciting news!!! I’m looking forward to reading about your new adventure!
Thanks Mary! I need to get on the ball with updates to my blog. I’m on sensory overload here in Austin. 🙂
Congratulations on your move to Austin–that sounds exciting! I’ve heard it’s a wonderful place to live!
Thanks so much, Nancy! So far it’s great!
Welcome to town! Hopefully you will love Austin before the summer heat hits. I heard Amos Lee (from your likes) is in town for old settler festival. Anyway if you are ever up north check out out cedar park farmer’s market. Austin of course has a ton of good ones. 🙂
Yes, I did see that! I’ve seen Amos Lee 3 times so far and he’s sooooooo great!! Just not sure if I want to pay $55-65. I’ve only paid about $30 in the past. And I’d probably have to go alone. So unless you want to go with me, Kevin, (hint hint ha!), I doubt I’ll go.
