Moving

March 16, 2012 by Julie 19 Comments

Hi all!!  I apologize for the lack of posts recently.  I wanted to share some exciting news though!

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you already about my changes.

Next week, I’m moving!!!!!!!!!!  To…………

AUSTIN, TX

I’m super excited/nervous/worried/giddy/stressed/happy all at the same time.  My browser is bursting with bookmarks of Austin restaurants to try too, of course.  🙂

I’m going to take the rest of the month to focus on packing, etc.  I had a huge bump in the road thrown at me yesterday, but am excited to see how my life changes over the next few months.

Be back soon,

Jules

Good luck with your move. You’ll have a blast checking out all the awesome BBQ and tex-mex places like Juan in a Million and Iron Works BBQ. 🙂

Austin is awesome – I lived there for 51 years 🙂 before moving to the Gulf Coast. I still get back there 5 or 6 times per year and I always have a restaurant list to cover at every visit…. I miss my old favorites. Good luck on the move and hope the bumps in the road smoothe out soon!

Welcome to Texas…the Summers are brutal, but Austin is such a fun/cool place that you figure out ways to cope! Once you’re settled, let me know if you want to get together…SA is only 70-ish miles away, and I always love to go to Austin for an afternoon!

Welcome to town! Hopefully you will love Austin before the summer heat hits. I heard Amos Lee (from your likes) is in town for old settler festival. Anyway if you are ever up north check out out cedar park farmer’s market. Austin of course has a ton of good ones. 🙂

Yes, I did see that! I’ve seen Amos Lee 3 times so far and he’s sooooooo great!! Just not sure if I want to pay $55-65. I’ve only paid about $30 in the past. And I’d probably have to go alone. So unless you want to go with me, Kevin, (hint hint ha!), I doubt I’ll go.
