Reasons that I love the fall…

November 7, 2013 by Julie 3 Comments

Oh fall!! You’re my favorite season. I love you! Let me count the ways.

1. Clothes

Fall clothes are so much better than summer clothes. Layers, warm colors, boots, scarves, more accessories…bring it on.

2. Home decor

I have lots of seasonal decor for the fall and Christmas season. But decorating for the summer…I’m clueless.

3. Candles

I’m still so in love with the candles that I recently got at Bath & Body Works. Scents like cinnamon, vanilla, and apple are my favorite. Candles that smell like island breeze or cotton freshness or whatnot, meh.

4. Sleeping

My preferred sleeping situation: I like it cold in the bedroom, so that I can snuggle under a million blankets. That’s my hibernation jam! It’s hard to snuggle under a million blankets in the August heat in Austin. But when the weather gets chilly and I can crack a window at night or hold out as long as possible before turning on the heat, oh yeah…the best sleep!

5. Hot tea

It’s getting dark earlier now. Get comfy on the couch in the evening with a good book and a cup of tea. I’m usually a coffee gal. But in the fall evenings, tea please!

6. Patio drinking

Sitting outside and sharing a bottle of wine with friends. And not sweating my ass off! Finally.

Who wants to go to Opa and drink outside with me??

What’s your favorite season?
