As I was thinking about what to blog about today, I went to check the mail. Exciting post so far, eh? I received an Ebates rebate check in the mail. So, I thought I’d share a little secret with you.

If you are an avid online shopper like I am, you NEED to use Ebates. If you are planning on online shopping for the holidays, you NEED to use Ebates. It’s free money people!

How does it work?

Basically, go to Ebates.com versus going directly to the store you are wanting to online shop at. Then type in the name of your desired store on Ebates and it will tell you if that store has a cash back offer from Ebates.

For example, I recently saw that Ebates was offering 4% cash back on Kate Spade purchases. Ebates had also alerted me that Kate Spade was having one of their surprise sales. So not only did I get 75% off my purse, but also the 4% cash back from Ebates.

So of course, it only made sense to get earrings too. 😉

I highly recommend this site to everyone! I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve received over $60 back using Ebates so far. It’s so easy to use and if it something that you’re going to buy already, then use Ebates. The hardest thing to do in the beginning is to just remember to go to their site first. A couple of times, I have went on Keurig.com to buy coffee as I do regularly…wasted cash back opporunities when I failed to go to Ebates first!
